Barcelona is that the destination of this moment. It is a city which has a shore — great vibes, fantastic views, great weather architecture, bustling town life in addition to it all. There are designer shops, street shops and quaint markets, shops small and large and of course a wealth of sangria and tapas.   If you’re looking for somewhere to stay that’s close enough to the center without being stuck in amidst the madness, Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona is the perfect choice. It provides great value for money in a city hotel, with large, freshly decorated rooms, modern décor throughout, and PuroBeach Barcelona — a beach club concept and real highlight of the venue.

The Space

Once assessed in you are welcome to make use of the leisure facilities such as the gym, Purobeach Barcelona and the pub the Resort is about a transfer from the airport and even though you can’t access your room until 3pm.
We stayed in one of the club rooms — stylish and modern, they wed elegance with chilled city vibes together. The bed is comfortable and large, with pillows that are superbly and white linen. A chez sits close to the pub for looking out at the perspectives and reclining and there’s also unit a desk and tv.

The toilet is of good size for a city hotel with a pleasant tub, sink and shower. Considering that the Hilton can be known as a trusted business Resort, the Barcelona Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona manages to keep its functionality whilst also offering the opportunity to let your hair loose — it’s not stuffy and pretentious and filled with suits, it gives a perfect mix of both. It is cool, it’s chic and it sassy.

Purobeach

Purobeach Barcelona is a beach club notion — a chic and sophisticated place which beach vibes relaxed and offers a destination to let your stress ebb away. It is achingly trendy, with sleek white furniture plus a floor leading to the primary pool, being both elegant yet relaxed, with chilled house music pumping in the waft of fresh fruit cocktails in the atmosphere along with the background.

The pool itself is surrounded by extravagant loungers and a super luxurious cabanas completed with white linen covers to protect you from the sun.

The pool water is crystal clear and the area drenched in Mediterranean sunshine. Waitresses and waiters are constantly cautious, bringing flavorful and fresh fruit platters smoothies straight.

We indulged in a couple of the frozen cocktails that were not just but a welcome respite from the heat. You leave behind the dusty mill of town and are transported to the throes of tranquillity. Check out what’s on when you proceed since they have live DJs too.

Dining

Dinner at the Hilton Diagonal Mar is an experience unto itself. The relaxed vibes continue through to the night and we had been beneath the spell of the Hotel, as we took our seats in the patio on Purobeach Barcelona. Dinner occurs either or upward on the terrace in the pool. Being in Spain, we (obviously) opted for a tapas menu and sipped on their home red wine overlooking the bustling city below. The food has been cooked to perfection — quesadillas, paella, fresh fish… each dish was teeming with tastes along with piping hot. There is also an a la carte menu available for those who fancy something a bit different.

After this we continued into the Purobeach Barcelona bar area where we relaxed about the plush sofas and ordered a few more cocktails. Hats and accessories are available for when the evening’s turn somewhat chilly and the audio continues to play. The air, quality of good music choices and beverages negate the need to leave the resort, you could happily while away the hours with no care in the world.

Breakfast at Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona occurs within their main restaurant. It’s a large and tasty buffet, with everything from waffles and sandwiches into a full English. There are an assortment of cakes, juices, pastries, fresh fruit and more fill upon and to enjoy.

Hilton del Mar is the ideal vacation destination without being in the thick of it, to be inside the city. It offers luxury and a welcome respite. Service is second to none and ambience, the decor and design of this Resort is the perfect mix of contemporary and comfy. We can not wait to head back…
